New Zealand's Skyhawk fighters have deployed to Singapore for a training exercise. This will be their last deployment before the squadrons are disbanded and the aircraft sold. Conservative and pro-military groups in New Zealand plan to sue the leftwing government in court to stop it from shutting down the Royal New Zealand Air Force's last combat capability.--Stephen V Cole
