So far this week, U.S. and Afghan troops have killed 19 Taliban fighters, and captured six. The Taliban gangs are out to terrorize tribal and religious leaders that oppose them. In the last few weeks, the Taliban have murdered four senior religious leaders who preached against them, and threatened many tribal leaders. But it's too late for terror, as most Pushtun leaders have turned against the Taliban and won't be cowed by terror.
