  Terrorists ambushed a bus west of the capital, killing fourteen and wounding some two dozen more. Terrorists have killed some 75 people in the last week. Most were civilians, although three were soldiers and 26 terrorists. Since the government amnesty expired on January 16, over 215 people have died, including about 80 of them terrorists. The government has been attempting to clear out terrorist base areas, but the terrorists have stepped up their attacks on civilians.
