The Tomsk, Siberia media reported on 30 January that the regional branch of the Federal Security Service discovered a group of seven hackers who had been waging a war against Chechen rebels for the last three years.

Led by Dmitri Alexandrov (a student who had come to Tomsk from Grozny), they periodically attacking rebel sites and obstructed their operations so badly that the owners of "Kavkaz" Chechen rebel site had to change their Internet provider three times. 

The Tomsk hackers plan to pool their efforts with students at colleges and universities in Omsk, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk to continue attacks on separatist sites. - Adam Geibel
