The US Army is studying ideas for radical changes in its uniforms. The Class-A and -B "office" uniforms will get the biggest makeover since World War II, and could in fact revert to the World War II-era tan and brown designs. General Shinseki has ordered new designs to be ready within two years, and has ordered that the changes be "revolutionary or not at all". A new combat uniform will replace by BDU in 2006; this will likely be a one-piece coverall of a solid dark green color.--Stephen V Cole
