The Taliban are now fighting on four different fronts. One area is 50 kilometers north of Kabul, another 60 kilometers northeast of Kabul. Fighting continues to the east, near the Pakistani border, while another front is in northern Afghanistan. Faced with all these setbacks, the Taliban have resorted to blaming France (for supporting the Northern Alliance.) There is no evidence that France is involved in the current Afghan war.
