The first British Royal Air Force Jaguar attack plane refitted with an Adour Mk-106 engine (along with one of its original Mk-104 engines) has made its first flight. A Jaguar fitted with two Mk-106s will fly in August. Britain is paying $105 million to replace the engines on 61 Jaguars in order to keep them flying beyond 2008. This will ensure that Britain has an adequate ground attack capability until Eurofighter Typhoons
