The British Royal Air Force has ordered GPS-guidance kits for its Paveway-II and Paveway-III laser-guided bombs, which will give them a dual-mode guidance capability, allowing them to attack targets in conditions of bad weather. The British have wanted this kind of weapon since scathing reports from the Kosovo War noted that most of their laser-guided bombs were lost into clouds and did not destroy the intended targets.--Stephen V
