The British Ministry of Defense has issued a $61 million contract to Raytheon to upgrade the existing stocks of Paveway-II and Paveway-III laser-guided bombs to the Enhanced Paveway standard. This adds GPS guidance to the laser-guidance systems, allowing the bombs to be used in either mode and strike targets in bad weather.--Stephen V Cole
