An F-16C fitted with the new overwing conformal fuel tanks has completed 24 flight tests at Eglin AFB. These tanks were not functional (as current F-16s don't have the fittings to connect the tanks) but demonstrate that the concept (used for the new F-16C Block 60) is workable.--Stephen V Cole
