The Israeli Army Signal Corps is developing a new program known as "On-Line Soldier". This would outfit every infantryman with a GPS system, a tactical radio, and an encrypted cell phone. The system is designed to distribute information, improve situational awareness, and give commanders better control over their troops.--Stephen V Cole
